Rolex Day-Date President is one of the most expensive watches in Rolex collection. But is also one of the most complicated, due to the fact that additionally to the familiar "date" it has a "day" function at 12 o'clock position. First introduced in 1956 Rolex Day-Date remained almost unchanged till 1983 when it was enhanced with quick-set function, following a double quick-set mechanism in 1990 (movements 3055 and 3155 respectfully). |

It was in 1983 when old-styled pie-pan Day-Date dials have become history and new flat dials where introduced. New flat dials where a lot easier to manufacture and where allowing tremendous opportunities for modifications. Up to these days quick-set dials have remained unchanged. Day-Date watches come in 18k yellow gold, 18k white gold, and platinum. And yet, despite different pricing, these watches are using exactly the same movements and therefore identical dials. We offer dials for all of these models. Dials for vintage 1803 model are possible to refinish, but impossible to find. If you are one of the lucky owner s of Rolex 1803 the only option for you to customize your watch is to refinish your existing dial. |
