Tapestry dials are usually available for Rolex 2T, but this one was manufactured for a stainless steel model. The lines on the dial surface are engraved and not painted as some people might think - this is what makes this dial very hard to replicate and back in the 80s Rolex was the only watch manufacturer who has them.
