Ekranoplan Caspian Sea Monster is a Russian vessel, first of its kind developed in secrecy by Soviet military during 1960s. It’s a mixture of plane and a ship. The craft moves on a dynamic cushion of air that is generated by its forward movement. This ship/plane was designed to carry missiles just above the water surface virtually undetected by radars.
